Update from the Columbus Bargaining Table

Over the past week and a half, the Kroger Columbus Division and UFCW Local 1059 bargaining committees have engaged in productive bargaining conversations.  So far, the committees have exchanged proposals, shared ideas, addressed language recommendations, and made important progress.

We appreciate the transparent conversations with the Union bargaining committee, and we remain committed to working through the contract.

Our goal for these negotiations is to reach an agreement that provides competitive wages; affordable, industry-leading healthcare; and a strong pension for your retirement.

We are committed to reaching an agreement that supports our associates, serves our customers, and keeps groceries affordable. We look forward to continuing discussions on important topics related to your contract.

What’s Next –The Company and Union bargaining committees have agreed to continue their conversations on Thursday, July 31, and Friday, August 1.
